An attorney at Ostroff Godshall, Kyle Everly focuses his practice on tireless advocacy on behalf of individuals injured as a result of corporate irresponsibility and individual negligence.
Kyle has practiced law for nearly two decades, representing clients in complex and high-stakes litigation. As a former Partner at a well-established defense firm, he represented national and Fortune-ranked corporations, as well as insureds and businesses through insurance carriers, in a wide range of matters including catastrophic injuries and complex liability issues. His experience includes litigation arising from commercial transportation, product liability, premises liability, fire cause and origin, construction negligence, and motor vehicle accidents.
Having family experience with the residual effects of a serious traumatic brain injury caused by negligence, Kyle has a personal understanding of the longstanding impact unforeseen accidents can have, despite the potential appearance of day-to-day normalcy. His experience in defending corporations created a recognition that the defendants’ views on injuries and fault were often not consistent with his own. For that reason, Kyle resolved to use his experience and skillset for the benefit of individuals seeking assistance, both in navigating the complex process of civil litigation and in finding answers and resolution.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Maryland, Kyle earned his law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School, where he served as the President of the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society. Following graduation, Kyle also had the honor of serving as a coach for the Mock Trial team at his high school, St. Joseph’s Prep, in Philadelphia.
Kyle is licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as being admitted into the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, and the District of New Jersey. He has handled matters through all phases of litigation, from inception through trial, throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Given his background, Kyle strives to represent his clients with the same passion he would have if fighting for his own family. He brings enthusiasm and creativity to each case he handles on behalf of the firm’s valued clients, and knows the importance of clear and consistent communication. Kyle’s prior experience in the defense industry provides valuable insight into the defense’s anticipated strategies and risk evaluations, allowing Kyle and his clients to feel steps ahead of the opposition during the lifespan of the case.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Kyle is an active member of his local community, having the privilege of coaching his daughters’ lacrosse teams, and serving on the board for the Haddonfield Youth Lacrosse Club.
