Personal Injury Litigation Attorney (Trial-Focused Associate)

At Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers, we advocate for individuals who have been seriously injured and need strong, trial-ready representation. Our litigation team handles complex, high-value personal injury matters, and we are seeking a driven attorney who wants meaningful courtroom experience and hands-on involvement in serious cases.

This is a hybrid position that is primarily office-based in the Greater Philadelphia region. In-person collaboration, mentorship, and trial preparation are central to this role. It is designed for an attorney who wants to litigate, prepare cases for trial, and grow as a personal injury trial lawyer through real responsibility, in-office collaboration, and active courtroom development.

About the Role

We are hiring a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with a minimum of three years of experience handling plaintiff or defense personal injury matters. The position does not require business development. We have the cases. The firm has a strong and growing caseload. The focus of the role is litigation execution, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation and Case Management

  • Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, expert coordination, depositions, motion practice, and trial.
  • Collaborate closely with more senior attorneys on case strategy, preparation, and execution.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial testimony.
  • Participate in all phases of trial preparation, including voir dire, opening statements, direct and cross-examinations, and closings.

Trial Preparation and Courtroom Experience

  • Engage in hands-on trial preparation with direct exposure to courtroom advocacy.
  • Argue motions, present evidence, and participate meaningfully in trial proceedings.
  • Develop strong litigation and trial skills through active participation rather than passive support.
  • Attorneys in this role are expected to take ownership of their cases and play an active role in strategic decision-making throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania is required; New Jersey license is a plus.
  • Minimum of three years of personal injury litigation experience, plaintiff or defense.
  • Strong working knowledge of personal injury law, civil procedure, and applicable state laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage a challenging caseload from pleadings through trial.
  • Ability to multitask and complete assignments with conflicting deadlines.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to contribute as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, litigation-focused environment.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Must be able to travel throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states as required.
  • Reliable transportation required.

Work Environment

This is a litigation-forward role within a hybrid environment that prioritizes in-office collaboration, mentorship, and courtroom readiness. The position is based in our Blue Bell, PA 19422 office, and the ideal candidate is seeking a long-term future in trial advocacy with a regular in-office presence rather than a fully remote practice.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation includes a salary, with additional earnings tied to a percentage of fee revenue generated by the attorney’s cases. Benefits include:

  • 100 percent employer-paid medical coverage for employees
  • Optional dental and vision coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off
  • Flexible schedule with a hybrid, in-office litigation framework
  • Health Savings Account
  • Employee appreciation events and referral program
  • Onsite fitness center access
  • Supportive, professional team culture
