Diane Sodano

Attorney

Diane M. Sodano is an attorney at Ostroff Godshall, where she represents individuals throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey who are injured in accidents caused by someone else’s negligence, including motor vehicle accidents, premises injuries, animal attacks, product liability, fatalities, and other complex injury claims. Diane works to ensure each of her client’s cases are thoroughly developed, documented and managed from the beginning to ensure the claim’s best chance of success and to help maximize the client’s financial and physical recoveries.

Diane is driven by the philosophy that personal injury law is truly personal; no injury or accident impacts two people the same way, so each case is deeply personal to the victim and should be treated as such by his or her attorney. She takes the time to listen to her clients, answer their questions and learn how their injuries effected them. She offers her clients direct, clear guidance so they can better understand their options and are able to participate as a partner in moving their claims forward.

Diane takes pride in every one of her cases, persists to obtain results in tough cases, and appreciates that in the most tragic cases, often the client wants answers in addition to a recovery. Having represented both a nephew and an uncle killed in separate motor vehicle crashes, she knows first-hand the trauma and grief family members experience when their loved ones suffer tragic, catastrophic injuries. These experiences motivate Diane to represent clients with compassion, while fiercely fighting for justice for them.

In addition to twenty-four years’ experience in the personal injury field, Diane spent more than a decade working in the insurance industry. Her combined knowledge from these fields provides a unique perspective when representing her clients. She understands the mathematical, objective approach insurance companies take regarding injury claims, and she works tirelessly to change the paradigm and personalize each client’s claim to ensure they receive the compensation they deserve.

Diane earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Temple University, and she received her law degree from Temple’s School of Law while working full time for Cigna Group Insurance. Diane is an alum of the firm, having worked here as an attorney and then as Of Counsel, for six years, from 2017 to 2023. Before returning to Ostroff Godshall, Diane was an attorney at a personal injury firm on the outskirts of Northeast Philadelphia, and before joining Ostroff Injury Law for her first tenure, she was an attorney in the Litigation Department of Grim, Biehn & Thatcher PC. and served as the firm’s executive director of the firm from August 2014 to November 2016. She licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, and the District Court of New Jersey.

Clients value Diane for her compassion, clear communication, sound advice, and determination.

Diane represents clients in motor vehicle accident, DUI accident, bicycle accident, animal attack, and property defect cases.
