NORRISTOWN, Pa. — August 18, 2026 — Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers and the Norristown Area School District recently welcomed local students and families to the Second Annual Back-to-School Bash at the Musselman Learning Center.
During the August 6 event, Ostroff Godshall distributed more than 750 backpacks to help Norristown-area students begin the school year with essential supplies. Zac’s Hamburgers served 834 meals, while Sweet Briar handed out 1,034 scoops of ice cream to attending families.
The event brought together local organizations, businesses, volunteers and community representatives for an afternoon of family activities and back-to-school support.
“The turnout was incredible, and we are grateful to every organization, volunteer and family who helped make the event possible,” said Rich Godshall, owner, managing partner and lead trial attorney at Ostroff Godshall. “This was a true community effort. We are already looking ahead to next year, with the goal of doubling our impact and helping even more local students start the school year prepared.”
A Growing Community Partnership
The 2026 Back-to-School Bash continued a partnership between Ostroff Godshall and the Norristown Area School District that began with Project Backpack 2025. Approximately 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed through the first year.
That partnership was recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a 2026 Partners in Philanthropy honored partnership.
The annual event reflects OG Law’s commitment to supporting Norristown students and families. By providing backpacks and essential classroom supplies, the initiative helps students focus on learning without placing an additional financial burden on their families.
